IMPACT
As the IT Finance Transformation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our Finance and Accounting systems and services, utilizing a range of applications (SAAS and On Premise), and ensuring governance and compliance. Your strategic leadership will drive programs/projects focused on the digital transformation of Finance and Accounting, transitioning from Oracle EBS to Fusion Financials, all while collaborating closely with our business leaders.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Manage a team of four individuals, overseeing appropriate staffing, people management, performance management, scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Lead the IT Finance and Accounting business applications team, providing strategic direction, implementation, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement.
- Coach, mentor, and manage direct reports, guiding them in implementing, maintaining, and supporting all relevant software.
- Take ownership of all system configurations, integrations, workflows, reporting, and analytics within the Finance and Accounting domain.
- Participate in or provide strategic leadership for cross-functional programs/projects.
- Analyze, document, and communicate changes, as well as design and develop solutions that consider the overall impact on current business processes, integrations, and reports for various stakeholders.
- Manage service levels, including SLAs, incident and enhancement ticket management, and the delivery of smaller projects.
- Collaborate with the development, integration, and testing teams to deliver quality solutions and timely results.
- Evaluate quarterly patches, analyze new or changed functionalities, develop test plans, conduct unit testing, and coordinate testing activities with business users to ensure business continuity and continuous improvement.
- Participate in M&A activities and assess their impact on current business processes, integrations, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business groups to develop and execute integration plans.
IDEAL PROFILE
- Possess 10+ years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
- Have at least 4 years of experience in a people leadership/management role, responsible for leading the IT Finance and Accounting business applications team.
- Demonstrate expertise in implementing and supporting ERP applications, particularly Oracle EBS, and leading a digital transformation from Oracle EBS to the Cloud (Fusion Financials / Oracle Cloud) within the finance and accounting domain.
- Exhibit experience in utilizing and managing SaaS applications in the Finance field.
- Proven ability to serve as an advisor to the business, comfortable challenging requests. Prior consulting experience is a plus.
- Display self-motivation, direction, and a change-oriented mindset.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate complex concepts to management and cross-functional teams.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or Information Technology from an accredited university.
- Reside in the Birmingham area or be willing to relocate within the USA upon hire.
