Senior Leasing Attorney

Our client, a highly respected regional law firm, is searching for a skilled and motivated Associate to join their Real Estate & Commercial Development Practice Group.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school with an exceptional academic record.
- Active bar admission in the relevant state.
- At least 6 years of substantial experience in handling complex commercial real estate transactions, with a significant focus on lease negotiations for retail, office, healthcare, and industrial spaces.
- Experience representing both landlords and tenants is highly desired.
- Proven ability to handle transactions independently as well as collaborate effectively.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-centric approach.
Main Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and prepare comprehensive lease agreements, including those for retail, office, and industrial purposes.
- Oversee leasing transactions from initial letter of intent to finalization and post-closing matters.
- Collaborate with clients' in-house teams to support their leasing and real estate management objectives.
- Handle various lease structures, such as subleases, ground leases, build-to-suit, and retrofit-to-suit arrangements.
- Manage sophisticated lease documentation and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $230,000 to $390,000, depending on experience, and includes eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
