Senior Manager, International Tax
A highly reputable accounting and consulting firm is searching for an experienced Senior Manager, International Tax to join their team in either Torrance or Los Angeles, CA. As the Senior Manager, you will take the lead on international tax engagements, providing strategic planning and compliance services to clients with a global presence. Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and oversee international tax engagements, ensuring compliance with both U.S. and foreign tax laws and regulations.
- Offer valuable tax planning guidance to clients with global operations, with an emphasis on minimizing tax liabilities and guaranteeing compliance.
- Supervise and review the preparation of international tax forms, including Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, and 8991.
- Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor for all international tax matters.
- Guide, support, and develop junior tax professionals, ensuring they uphold professional standards.
- Stay informed about changes in international tax laws and regulations, providing advice to clients and firm leadership on the associated implications.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive tax solutions for complex client needs.
- Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand international tax services.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a CPA license.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in public accounting or a similar environment, with a specialization in international tax.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. international tax laws, treaties, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with various forms such as 5471, 8858, 1118, and 8991.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships effectively and lead teams successfully.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 annually.
