ROLE SUMMARY: As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure manufacturing excellence for our range of medical devices. You will also lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts, implement cost-saving measures, and maintain high-quality standards in our regulated setting.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead process optimization and automation initiatives
  • Create and validate manufacturing procedures in compliance with ISO/FDA requirements
  • Implement innovative manufacturing solutions to reduce costs
  • Manage equipment qualification (Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification/Performance Qualification) for new products
  • Design fixtures and tooling to enhance production efficiency
  • Maintain documentation, including work instructions and engineering changes
  • Provide technical leadership for production support and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with R&D to optimize manufacturability and costs

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the medical device industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and process planning
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and technical documentation
  • Knowledge of machine shop operations (milling, turning, grinding) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong analytical skills and self-motivated work style

This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to medical device manufacturing by working with advanced technologies and processes.

Compensation range: $100K to $145K+
