Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Commercial

Locations: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop engineering documents and equipment specifications to fulfill contractual requirements, applying Thermodynamic Principles (e.g., HVAC Engineering and Design, load/energy modeling calculations, etc.).

• Create cost estimates for assigned projects and ensure adherence to the determined scope of work.

• Oversee project teams and manage complete projects as assigned.

• Contribute to the business development process by providing input to proposals, interacting with potential clients, and making presentations.

• Direct and supervise other team members, including subcontractors.

• Review and approve final equipment selections and drawing submittals.

• Offer technical and engineering support to other departments and disciplines.

• Lead and participate in construction administration, including attending meetings, handling change orders, and responding to RFI's.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

• At least 8 years of experience working on large scale commercial projects.

• Familiarity with both Revit and AutoCAD software.

• Strong ability to manage meetings effectively.

• Basic understanding of Architectural, Electrical, Civil, and Structural Engineering construction practices.

• Ability to establish credibility and build rapport with customers and stakeholders.

EDUCATION

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required. Professional Engineering Registration is also necessary.
