We are currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Plant Engineer to join our team in Dillon, SC. As the Lead Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to our Operations team. Your primary objective will be to ensure maximum equipment and system uptime through the implementation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). In addition to this, your responsibilities will include:

· Develop and implement effective plant technical strategies and tactics to optimize operations, safety, energy usage, engineering projects, and maintenance improvement.

· Cultivate a culture of safety throughout the organization and ensure the implementation of safety strategies in all aspects of operations.

· Develop and execute plant-specific engineering and maintenance strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure the maintenance of facility structures and infrastructures, including electrical, mechanical, boiler, and refrigeration systems, to meet operational needs.

· Collaborate with the Senior Director of Engineering to establish and adhere to plant technical expense budgets.

· Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies, corporate insurance, risk management, and other organizations to ensure compliance with codes and policies.

Requirements

We expect our ideal candidate to possess a BS Degree in an engineering/technical discipline and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. However, if you do not have a degree, we will consider an additional 5 years of related work experience. Additionally, the successful candidate should:

· Have experience in plant engineering or project engineering/management within the food industry.

· Possess automation experience and a working knowledge of the plant's Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo).

· Demonstrate a general knowledge of AutoCAD, including working with drawings, dimensioning, and updating equipment layouts.

· Be willing to travel for vendor visits, training seminars, and corporate meetings related to technical strategy and capital planning.
