Senior Technical Services Manager – Dairy Manufacturing

📍 Marshfield, WI| 🕒 24/5 Production Facility | 💼 Direct Reports: 4 | Reporting To: Site Director

Must Haves:

• 7+ years of experience in food or dairy manufacturing, with at least 3 years in technical and production leadership (10 years in lieu of degree)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical discipline (Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical)

• Expertise in cheese and cheese powder processing

• Proven background in process improvement, controls systems, and operations leadership

• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Master’s degree

• Experience with Emerson or Rockwell controls systems

• Union manufacturing environment experience

• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent

• Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Suite

Our Fortune 200 dairy client is hiring a Senior Technical Services Manager to champion innovation, reduce processing variation, and drive cost-effective operations at their flagship cheese and cheese powder facility in central Wisconsin. This high-impact role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, production, and continuous improvement.

You’ll lead a team of four salaried professionals and serve as the go-to expert on process controls, operational efficiency, and system optimization across a state-of-the-art 24/5 dairy operation.

What You’ll Lead & Deliver:

• Develop and execute technical strategies to improve consistency, yield, and reliability

• Identify and implement cutting-edge process control technologies

• Reduce variation and drive plant-wide cost reduction and risk mitigation

• Prioritize and manage technical project pipelines and improvement initiatives

• Maintain and continuously improve plant controls and automation systems

• Support R&D during product trials and lead coordination for new process launches

• Collaborate closely with Maintenance to enhance controls and training programs

• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Ops, and External Vendors
