Our client specializes in designing, integrating, and manufacturing custom test and measurement systems, playing a vital role in industries including aerospace, defense, RF, energy, and biomedical. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technological innovation and leadership.


As a Senior Project Engineer, you will have a key role in the development of automated test systems that exceed customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and managing project requirements
  • Designing and documenting system architecture
  • Developing software
  • Integrating and selecting hardware
  • Mentoring project engineers


To excel in this leadership position, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or applied science
  • Extensive expertise in LabVIEW development; preference given to Certified LabVIEW Developers and Architects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and client satisfaction
  • A strong desire to learn new technologies and an innovative and adaptable mindset
  • At least 5 years of experience in LabVIEW development using advanced architectures (LV RT/FPGA, NI Diadem, NI SystemLink preferred)
  • Experience with TestStand is desirable
  • Experience with database modeling and interface is desirable
  • Proficiency in Python, C/CVI/C++, C#, VB/VB.NET
  • Familiarity with Javascript, HTML, CSS, PHP
  • At least 5 years of hardware design experience, including specifying and integrating data acquisition and control hardware
  • Strong hands-on engineering and diagnostic skills
  • A broad knowledge of measurement and control principles, as well as engineering disciplines
  • Familiarity with RF/microwave systems and embedded hardware/software is a plus
  • Experience in motion control and machine vision is a plus
  • Experience in the Aerospace and/or Defense industries is a plus
  • Eligibility for ITAR and defense contract work (US Person)
  • Occasional travel to customer sites will be required
