Summary:

Overseeing and managing projects and capital expenditures for the Belmont location. Providing leadership to conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse range of projects that align with the company's objectives. Responsible for developing comprehensive programs and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, optimize facility and equipment utilization, conduct operations analysis for continuous improvement, ensure product quality, and manage budgets. This role may require occasional travel to other plants located in NY, WI, CA, & ID.

The Senior Project Engineering Lead reports directly to the Plant Director and manages one direct report.

Requirements:

Education

· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field of study is required (master's degree preferred)

Experience

· Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in successfully managing complex projects and installations

· Prior project management experience in the food industry is essential, preferably in the dairy sector

Specialized Knowledge

· In-depth understanding of technology, processes, and engineering principles in the agri-food industry, particularly in food or dairy processing plants. Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of main dairy process equipment such as HTST, separators, and membrane systems, as well as mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Familiarity with FDA and USDA regulations is also necessary.

Working knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Utilities, and Construction trades is desirable.

Compensation: The salary for this position is in the range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year, with a 20% bonus potential. The company offers relocation assistance worth $10,000 and provides free housing during the relocation period.
