Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Senior Scheduler (Roadway Highway) at our Cary, NC location. As the Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing construction schedules using Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProjects. In addition, you will coordinate client reporting, oversee resource needs, and provide schedule updates, including three-week look-aheads. Your main responsibilities will involve schedule analysis, progress reports, and conducting Time Impact Analyses (TIA).

Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules for efficient execution.
• Prepare baseline schedules and evaluate the impact on critical paths.
• Track variances, propose corrective actions, and report progress.
• Ensure schedule accuracy and appropriately document changes.
• Review subcontractor schedules and validate logic/float paths.
• Collaborate with teams to sequence work and meet milestones.
• Analyze the impact of change orders and assess resource-loading schedules.
• Conduct site visits, facilitate scheduling meetings, and provide mentorship to planners.
• Document lessons learned during project closeout.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in scheduling heavy/highway construction projects, such as bridges and underground constructions.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required) or ASTA PowerProjects.
• Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Willingness to relocate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management (preferred).
• Field experience (preferred).
