About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Core Platform team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development and expansion of our custom agent-based AI platform, which efficiently processes vast amounts of data on a daily basis. The platform's primary function is to assist customers in ingesting, transforming, and analyzing both structured and semi-structured data.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the design and construction of a scalable and resilient distributed data platform.

• Create and enhance a data ingestion layer, transformation engine, query engine, and workflow system.

• Take ownership and maintain autonomy over assigned projects throughout their lifecycle.

• Adhere to industry-leading engineering practices, including conducting code reviews, implementing developer tooling, producing comprehensive documentation, and conducting robust testing.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing and building high-scale distributed data systems within cloud-native environments.

• Demonstrate proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Java, C, C++, Kotlin, Go, Rust, Scala).

• Have practical experience leveraging AWS or GCP.

• Previous experience at a startup is preferred.

• Must be located in the vibrant cities of San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY.
