Senior Tax Associate

Location: Mason, OH

We are seeking a Tax Senior to join our team in Mason, OH. Reporting to the Tax Manager, this position will be responsible for various aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provision, and income tax compliance. The role will also involve contributing to special tax projects, both domestic and international, as well as conducting research projects. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented and possesses strong organizational, people, process, systems, and project management skills. They should be able to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and tight deadlines. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.


  1. Collaborate in the review and preparation of corporate income tax returns for various jurisdictions.
  2. Handle examinations conducted by various taxing authorities.
  3. Assist in preparing the Company’s world-wide tax provision, including:

· Collecting, analyzing, and compiling financial information from the Company’s subsidiaries to determine the full year effective income tax rate for interim and year-end reporting.

· Prepare schedules and work papers for review by management and the Company’s independent accountants.

· Help prepare related tax footnotes required for SEC filings.

· Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 standards.

· Support research and documentation of all tax reporting positions.

  1. Prepare foreign (e.g., Canada) tax returns and handle foreign related items on U.S. federal corporate income tax returns.
  2. Assist with maintaining and preparing contemporaneous multi-jurisdictional transfer pricing documentation and support.


  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation (or equivalent), C.P.A. is a plus.
  2. Minimum of five years of relevant experience in public accounting or corporate tax. Prior experience in multinational corporate tax is highly preferred.
  3. Experience and strong understanding of ASC740 (FAS109 and FIN 48) and other US GAAP concepts.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both tax and non-tax audiences internally and externally.
  5. Proficiency in financial and tax reporting software. Preferably, experience with Onesource, Tax Stream/Onesource Provision, and Hyperion.
  6. Possibility of occasional travel (0-20%) to visit Divisions.
