Responsibilities

As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, your primary role will involve managing, overseeing, and directing the functions related to material planning, inventory control, storage, shipping, and receiving. You will primarily focus on materials while collaborating with other departments to ensure business objectives are met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the procurement, production, and engineering departments to ensure sufficient supply and efficient material movement.
• Developing and maintaining inventory control systems by monitoring purchase order status, inventory levels, and production requirements.
• Reviewing existing procedures for accuracy and implementing improved procedures as necessary.
• Forecasting and planning for future materials requirements.
• Reviewing production schedules to ensure the availability of materials.

Qualifications

• ·Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ·At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• ·Strong preference for 5 years of leadership experience.
• Must-Have Skills
• ·Experience in 'Lean' material management.
• ·Expert knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel and Access.
• ·Strong verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with various departments.
• ·Ability to foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
