This prestigious industrial controls and instrumentation manufacturer is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Electrical Controls Engineer specializing in Siemens and Parker-Hannifin systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems.
- Programming PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
- Supervising panel construction activities.
- Serving as the project manager for assigned projects.
- Implementing control systems at client sites.
- Ensuring projects meet cost and timeline objectives.
- Creating electrical schematics.
- Providing customer support as required.
- Delivering presentations to stakeholders at various levels.
- Contributing to budgeting processes.
- Participating in cutting-edge technology initiatives, including robotic programming and factory automation.
- Traveling domestically for up to six weeks per year.
The ideal candidate will possess the following background:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
- A minimum of two years of experience in controls engineering with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin systems.
- At least two years of HMI experience.
- Two years of web handling experience.
- Willingness to travel domestically for four to six weeks annually.
- A strong work history with proven achievements.
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a green card.
- A residence located within a 45-minute commute of Appleton, WI.
