This thriving manufacturer of industrial controls and instrumentation is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Electrical Controls Engineer specialized in Siemens or Parker-Hannifin systems. The chosen candidate will have the following responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and drives
  • Supervise the construction of control panels
  • Serve as the project manager, overseeing all aspects of the project
  • Commission control systems at client sites
  • Adhere to project costs and timelines
  • Create electrical schematics
  • Interact with customers as needed
  • Deliver presentations to various stakeholders
  • Contribute to budgeting processes
  • Stay current with cutting-edge technology in robotic programming and factory automation
  • Travel domestically for a period of four to six weeks annually
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
  • At least two years of experience in controls engineering, preferably using Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin systems
  • Minimum of two years' experience with HMIs
  • Working knowledge of web handling
  • Availability to travel within the United States for four to six weeks each year
  • A consistent and strong work history
  • Must be a US citizen or hold a Green Card
  • Residence within a 45-minute commute from Appleton, WI
