This industrial controls and instrumentation manufacturer is experiencing growth and is seeking a full-time, permanent Electrical Engineering Controls Engineer with experience in Siemens or Parker-Hannifin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems
- Writing programs for PLCs, HMIs, and drives
- Supervising the assembly of control panels
- Serving as the project manager for assigned projects
- Commissioning control systems at client sites
- Ensuring projects are completed within budget and specified timelines
- Creating electrical schematics
- Interacting with customers as necessary
- Delivering presentations to various stakeholders
- Participating in the budgeting process
- Contributing to cutting-edge technology initiatives, such as robotic programming and factory automation
- Traveling for approximately four to six weeks per year
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
- At least two years of experience in Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin controls engineering
- Proficiency in HMI software and system integration
- At least two years of experience in web handling
- Ability to travel domestically for four to six weeks annually
- A strong work history
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a Green Card
- Residence within a 45-minute commute of the Appleton area
