Site Leader


We are currently seeking a Site Manager for our manufacturing operations located in Sheboygan, WI. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the site, which includes a team of 30 personnel and an annual operating budget of $6mm. Your role will involve leading and directing all activities related to the chemical production effort, ensuring environmental and safety compliance, recruiting and developing operation personnel, managing inventories, optimizing process efficiencies, and implementing company policies and programs. You will also be responsible for coordinating efforts between production areas and other business functions, as well as championing site productivity projects that drive cost and variability reduction.


Environmental, Health & Safety:

Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental laws, codes, and standards, including the company Safety Manual, and report as required by policy.

Drive continuous EHS improvement by providing leadership to the site and its personnel, and maintaining high visibility on the unit's floors.

Human Resource Management:

Exemplify company core values and foster a positive work culture.

Recruit, train, develop, and promote associates to support long-term business goals and their personal career growth.


Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably leading/managing a manufacturing site.

Critical Skills: technical writing, math and statistics, analytical and problem-solving abilities, maintenance and production optimization, project management.

Demonstrated leadership experience and team-building skills are essential.

Ability to effectively lead and influence teams, groups, and individuals.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and motivate peers and teams.

Significant experience with EHS regulations and practices, including OSHA, EPA, PSM, Incuity, SAP, and Mechanical Integrity.

Experience in maintenance and production optimization.

Understanding and active usage of company management systems to ensure site compliance.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

Proven ability to drive associate alignment, engagement, and accountability.

Experience in ISO-9000 is preferred but not required.
