SLP, School Based Speech-Language Pathologist
Join our team as a full-time School Speech Therapist in Gadsden, AL!

We are expanding our team and seeking a top-notch Speech Therapist to provide exceptional care to our amazing patients.
Speech-language pathologists are professionals specializing in communication who assist individuals with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments resulting from disabilities or traumatic events.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and diagnose difficulties related to speech, language, communication, or swallowing.
- Create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Offer counseling to patients and their families regarding test results and recommended treatment options.
- Establish treatment goals, expectations, and patient understanding.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting for all patient appointments.
- Assign appropriate tasks to support personnel.
- Maintain communication with staff and external agencies in adherence to state guidelines.
- Refer patients to specialized medical professionals in dentistry, psychology, or related fields.
License and Certification Requirements:
Must hold a valid SLP certificate by the start of employment.
Current CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License.
Education, Training, and Experience:
Must hold a valid SLP certificate by the start of employment.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an associate degree or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology certificate program.
Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
