Full-Stack Developer

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid, 3 days a week)

Compensation: $120k - $250k base + equity (based on experience)

A rapidly expanding AI-powered eCommerce platform is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to assist in the development and expansion of its automation tools for performance marketing. With a customer base of over 1,000 paying clients within just six months and support from notable investors like Figma, Y Combinator, and General Catalyst, the company is primed for significant growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale core features and services for the company's eCommerce automation platform.
• Collaborate with a team of designers, engineers, and product managers to launch innovative products.
• Create clean, scalable, and maintainable code using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Optimize backend services utilizing distributed systems such as Kafka and Clickhouse.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions, improve engineering processes, and enhance system performance.
• Create comprehensive documentation to ensure long-term maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack development (5+ years if focused on backend).
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and familiarity with Kafka/Clickhouse or other similar distributed systems.
• Prior experience in building products from scratch with a strong emphasis on product and customer needs.
• Experience in fast-paced and dynamic environments, preferably in Series A or early-stage startups.
• Holds a CS degree or equivalent from a reputable university.
• Knowledgeable in deployment and maintenance strategies, with experience in mitigating common challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a founder or engineer in an early-stage startup.
• Participation in hackathons or a passion for rapid prototyping.
• Strong eye for visual design or experience with design tools like Figma.
