SolidWorks Mechanical Design Engineer

• Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in mechanical engineering design using SolidWorks. A mechanical engineering degree is preferred, but if a candidate does not have a degree, eight additional years of design experience is acceptable.
• Compensation for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000, depending on the candidate's level of experience.
• Applicants must be either United States citizens or Green Card holders.
• This is an onsite position; remote work is not available.
• The role is full-time and permanent, with the candidate being hired as a W-2 employee.

• The position is based in the Butler, Wisconsin area.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled SolidWorks Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As part of a niche, custom machine manufacturing company, you will encounter a wide variety of products and projects. Our work is never repetitive, and every machine we design makes a significant impact on our customers. We are committed to supporting our employees' growth and development.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

• Utilize SolidWorks to create mechanical designs for machine parts
• Help catch up with the engineering work backlog
• Operate CNC machines using MasterCAM

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• At least two years of experience in mechanical engineering design using SolidWorks
• A mechanical engineering degree is preferred, but candidates with eight additional years of design experience will also be considered
• A proven track record of excellent work performance
• Must be a US citizen or green card holder
• Residence within a 45-minute commute from our location
