Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time

No night or weekend shifts and no on-call requirements
Providing ultrasound services in a primary care facility located in New Albany, IN. Note that this position does not involve traveling

Responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technician:

  • Independently perform general, vascular, and cardiac ultrasound procedures with remote support
  • Prepare preliminary reports for review by interpreting physician
  • Assist patients throughout their visit and provide compassionate, high-quality service
  • Act as the key point of contact for the practice, building positive relationships with patients, office staff, and medical providers

Requirements for the position:

  • Hold certification in ultrasound in one or more of the following registries:Echocardiography: ARDMS – RDCS or CCI – ACS or RCS

General Ultrasound: ARDMS – (AB), (OB/GYN), (BR) or ARRT - RT(RDMS) and/orVascular Ultrasound: ARDMS – RVT (VT), ARRT – RT (VS), or CCI – RVS

  • We are open to cross-training you in an area of ultrasound you are not yet proficient in, as long as you are willing to participate in the provided training to gain proficiency in additional procedures
  • Possess at least 12 months of clinical experience as a sonographer
  • Physically capable of lifting equipment and assisting patients onto examination tables when necessarySKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
