Our prestigious client, a top-rated law firm in the Southeast, is seeking a talented and driven Associate to join their esteemed Education Law Litigation Team.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from a renowned law school, demonstrating exceptional academic performance.
- Must possess an active bar license in the state of Georgia.
- Has gained valuable 3-8 years of practical experience in litigation, preferably in the field of education law or related areas.
- Exhibits excellent skills in researching, writing, and communication.
- Showcases proven expertise in navigating the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), 504 plans, and individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Display a client-oriented mindset with a deep commitment to supporting educational institutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as legal counsel for educational institutions, addressing various legal matters, with a primary focus on special education law.
- Handle due process hearings, appeals, and compliance issues in accordance with both federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop strategies that align with their objectives while ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Work alongside a dedicated team of education law attorneys on complex cases and provide policy advisory support.
- Navigate sensitive situations involving regulatory agencies, administrative tribunals, and federal courts.

Compensation Package:
We are proud to provide a highly competitive salary ranging from $220,000 to $310,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, a discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
