Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Specialized Mechanical Design Engineer – Plastic Extrusion Tooling to join a growing, employee-friendly, ISO-certified manufacturer of plastic extrusion products. Key Responsibilities:

Design plastic extrusion tooling for profile extrusion, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion applications.

Lead efforts in designing, building, modifying, installing, and maintaining extrusion tooling and related equipment.

Support machine operators and machinists to ensure optimal production performance.

Fine-tune and adjust extrusion tooling for peak efficiency.

Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot issues and enhance production processes.

Utilize MasterCAM and Fusion 360 software for design work.
Qualifications:

4+ years of dedicated experience in plastic extrusion tooling design, specifically for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion applications.

3+ years of strong hands-on extrusion processing experience.

In-depth knowledge of extrusion processing methods and best practices.

Solid, stable work history.

U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder status is required.

Residence within a 45-minute commute of the Kohler, WI area.
