Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant SLPA

We are currently expanding and seeking a highly qualified Speech Therapy Assistant to provide exceptional care for our valuable patients.

Our team of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants consists of dedicated individuals who have undergone rigorous academic coursework, fieldwork, and comprehensive on-the-job training. They work under the direction and supervision of ASHA-certified speech-language pathologists to perform prescribed tasks.

Responsibilities

As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), your role will involve assisting a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in assessing and treating patients with various language, speech, fluency, and voice disorders or impediments. You will contribute to patient care and research efforts, implementing speech and language programs developed by the SLP, and collecting data to evaluate program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Active license in speech therapy
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • At least one year of professional experience in speech therapy
