Speech-Language Pathologist – Pediatric (Day Care)

Job Summary

As a speech therapist, you will be responsible for identifying and treating various communication disorders, such as speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Working closely with children, you will provide specialized therapy services to ensure a better quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess and diagnose communication disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs
- Deliver personalized therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
- Continuously evaluate progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Train patients, their families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress
Must hold a valid SLP certificate before the start of employment.
Required certifications: CPR, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License
Education, Training, and Experience:
Minimum qualifications: Completion of an Associate degree or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
