In this role, you will diagnose and treat various communication disorders such as speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess and diagnose communication disorders
- Create personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Deliver evidence-based one-on-one therapy sessions
- Regularly monitor and evaluate progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication and swallowing techniques
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress
Applicants must possess a current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment. CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver's License are also required.
Education, Training and Experience:
The minimum requirement for this position is an Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program is acceptable. While experience is preferred, it is not required.
