We are expanding our team and searching for a highly skilled Communication Specialist to provide exceptional care for our patients.
Communication specialists are knowledgeable in all aspects of communication. They diagnose, assess, prevent, and offer counseling and rehabilitation for disorders related to speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
Job Summary
Make a significant impact by providing transformative treatment, support, and assistance to children and adults facing challenges in communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing. You will be crucial in helping individuals who, due to physical or psychological reasons, struggle with speaking and communicating effectively.
Some patients may require speech therapy exclusively even though they are capable of performing other activities. You may also be responsible for educating staff members about the value and importance of speech therapy
Must possess a current SLPA certificate before the first day of employment.
You should also have CPR certification, a TB skin test, auto insurance, and a driver's license.
Education, Training, and Experience:
Minimum Requirement: Completion of an associate degree or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Prior experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
