SR. Account Manager

Location: Rosemont, IL

Leader in the production and distribution of specialty food ingredients seeks a highly motivated Senior Client Relationship Manager to join our team in Rosemont, IL. This role will involve overseeing and directing all commercial activities related to food ingredient products in the Midwest region and specific national accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and at least 7 years of sales experience in the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and grow existing and new customer relationships within the assigned territory

· Develop strategic plans tailored to each customer's needs and goals

· Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and identify new opportunities for product application

· Identify potential customers and opportunities to increase volume and profit margin

· Build relationships with key decision makers at customer organizations, including R&D, Quality, and Purchasing departments

· Deliver technical sales presentations to showcase our range of ingredient offerings

· Represent the company at national and regional trade shows

· Approximately 25-40% domestic and international travel required

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the food ingredient or specialty chemical industry

· A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college

· Proven track record of successful sales and strong customer relationships in the commercial ingredients industry, both direct and through distributors

This position will have a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office.
