Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and take a leading role in our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be responsible for preparing detailed financial reports that ensure our organization stays on track. This includes monitoring assets and liabilities, analyzing profits and losses, and managing tax obligations. Your expertise will be crucial as we continue to push the boundaries of our manufacturing capabilities. Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of standard cost accounting for materials and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory reporting for the organization.

• Contribute to the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements, driving our overall financial success.

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for bank accounts, inventories, fixed assets, and liabilities.

• Collaborate with external auditors by providing essential information during audits.

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and systems with a focus on ensuring SOX compliance.

• Plan and execute cycle counts and annual physical inventory to maintain precision and accountability.

• Provide insightful product margin reports and analysis to assist in decision-making processes.

• Take on additional responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of the organization.

• Complete any other duties assigned by Management as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is necessary.

• Must be willing to work onsite 5 days per week in a collaborative team environment.

• In-depth knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles is essential for this role.

• Experience in enhancing processes, policies, and systems, particularly related to SOX compliance, is preferred.

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP-based financial systems is required.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are key for success in this position.
