Sr. Automation Programmer

Location: Malvern, PA

The position of Senior Automation Developer is seeking an individual who will assume a leadership role in various projects, starting from the initial concept all the way to operational readiness. This role involves programming and integrating complex control systems, as well as hands-on troubleshooting of field control systems. Whenever equipment and process issues arise, the Senior Automation Developer will provide technical support. Furthermore, this position entails mentoring less experienced Developers to promote knowledge sharing and development.

To apply for this position, experience in programming PLC control and PC-based SCADA systems, as well as conducting system start-ups, is required. While a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or a related technology field is preferred, it is not obligatory.

We are particularly interested in applicants who have proficiency in using a variety of automation hardware and software from multiple manufacturers. This includes, but is not limited to, Allen Bradley, Schneider (Unity Pro, Vijeo Designer, ProWorx32, Telepace Studio), GeoSCADA, Wonderware In Touch, System Platform, Historian, Aveva Edge, and GE hardware and software.

Additionally, experience in hard-wired and wireless radio networks, as well as the configuration and troubleshooting of control instrumentation and motor control devices, would be highly beneficial. Knowledge in VPNs and cybersecurity would be considered a valuable asset.

As part of the role, our Senior Automation Developers may occasionally be required to provide after-hour client support and embark on overnight travel trips for various projects.
