Senior Automation Engineer

We are searching for a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Automation Engineer. Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced professional with extensive knowledge in Controls Systems engineering, automation, and specification development across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should have a high degree of technical competency and expertise in Control Systems configuration, development, and testing. Knowledge of field instrument installation requirements, DCS/PLC enclosure layout, and wiring with P&ID development experience is required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in control systems engineering and application consulting. Field troubleshooting experience is required.

Education:

BS in Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.

Core Competencies:

• Technical Competencies - Must be highly experienced with all aspects of Control Systems configuration and development, including Controls Systems programming, HMI graphics creation/development, and FATI SAT, procedure/test writing, loop checks, startup and commissioning support. Plant PAX and Batch knowledge is a plus.
• Safety - Responsible for maintaining compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Client Contact - Ensure that regular client contact is maintained, and that client concerns and input are understood and addressed.
• Morale & Teamwork - Consistently work to a high standard of professionalism within a team environment.
• Quality - Ensure that effective company and Client QA/QC processes are followed and understood.
