We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Property Claims Representative to join our dynamic field claims team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide a consistent, positive, and satisfying claims experience for our valued clients. This will involve conducting thorough investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and settlements for property claims. As part of our commitment to innovation, you will also have the opportunity to utilize cutting-edge technologies, such as drones, for property inspections. Additionally, we leverage virtual claims handling software to guide our clients seamlessly through the claim process.
This position offers full-time field work within the designated territory.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed investigations into claims, assessing policy coverage, and determining appropriate settlements.
- Initiating contact with insured parties, claimants, and other relevant individuals to gather important information, record statements (if necessary), and explain the claims process.
- Performing physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged properties, evaluating damages, and preparing written estimates in accordance with policy provisions and liability.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Requirements:
- Preference given to candidates with multilingual abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft WORD and Excel (or similar software), Xactimate, and/or other claims estimating applications (as applicable).
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
- Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Maintains all necessary adjuster licenses as mandated by the states in which we operate.
- This role is based in a work-from-home and virtual office environment, with access to a mobile company vehicle for transportation to and from appointments.
- Occasional work hours may extend beyond regular business hours based on business needs.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a vehicle.
- Physical dexterity required for walking, reaching, climbing, and crawling to inspect damage, even in unfavorable weather conditions or challenging work environments.
- Ability to lift, carry, and climb ladders weighing up to 50 pounds for roof inspections may be necessary.
- Possible assignment to catastrophic duty as required.
Salary: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per annum
