Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments and analysis of property and natural hazard risks
• Supporting change management and performing plan reviews
• Managing account risk portfolio and delivering risk engineering solutions to meet underwriting and customer requirements
• Developing and implementing customer service strategies to enhance loss prevention and customer operations
• Attending client broker meetings to provide engineering support to the underwriting team
• Ensuring proper, timely, and cost-effective delivery of property account engineering services
• Providing expert property consultation to customers, including identification of high-risk exposures and investigation of major losses
• Assisting in marketing risk transfer insurance products in collaboration with underwriting professionals and agents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in the Risk Engineering field
  OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the Risk Engineering field
  AND
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience working effectively in a team environment

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in handling high-value HPR properties
• Prior experience as an Account Executive & Loss Control/Risk Engineering professional in the insurance industry
• Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry
• Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) certification
• Strong communication and consultative skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively
• Successful track record in a team-oriented work environment
• Advanced PC and software/systems proficiency
