Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough assessments of property/natural hazard risks and providing risk improvement services
• Reviewing plans and supporting change management initiatives
• Managing the risk portfolio of accounts and delivering account-level risk engineering to fulfill underwriting and customer requirements, regardless of risk transfer arrangements
• Developing and implementing customer service strategies to minimize losses and enhance customer operations
• Providing engineering support to the underwriting team by participating in client broker meetings
• Monitoring property account engineering services to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Delivering advanced property consultation services to customers, including identifying high-risk exposures, investigating major losses, and implementing property management programs
• Assisting with marketing risk transfer insurance products in collaboration with underwriting professionals and agents in various company business segments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of Risk Engineering
  OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Risk Engineering
  AND
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field
• Prior experience with large account HPR properties
• Account Executive & Loss Control/Risk Engineering experience in the insurance industry
• Familiarity with the automotive manufacturing industry
• Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
• Excellent communication and advisory skills
• Outstanding collaboration abilities
• Proven track record of successful teamwork
• High level of proficiency in PC and software/systems usage
