Sr. HR Generalist
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Human Resources Specialist to join a prestigious company located in Florence, KY.
Position Overview:
As the Senior Human Resources Specialist, you will work under the guidance of the HR Director to provide comprehensive support for various HR operations. Your primary responsibilities will include managing bi-weekly payroll, administering employee benefits, overseeing salary employee recruitment, and handling employee relations. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of effective recruitment programs and coordinate training resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Proven experience in payroll processing
· Solid understanding of complex employee relations issues
· Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
· Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
· In-depth knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
· Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the bi-weekly salary payroll process and generate relevant reports
- Oversee benefit administration for new and existing employees
- Lead the recruitment process for salary employees
- Coordinate and execute annual open enrollment
- Handle attendance tracking, monthly performance evaluations, and corrective counseling
- Collaborate with operations to address employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and provide employee counseling. Escalate complex issues to the HR Director
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Paycor/HRIS system
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment and retention strategies
- Support initiatives that foster positive employee engagement and contribute to a strong company culture
- Collaborate with the HR Director to review, update, and communicate human resource policies, procedures, standards, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with the HR Director and operations to establish a comprehensive training and development program
- Compile and report relevant HR metrics to the HR Director
- Assist in promoting a culture of openness, honesty, and integrity through fair and consistent associate relation practices and effective communication
- Complete required reports such as ACA, FAS, and EEOC
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
