The position of Senior Engineering Project Manager in Charleston, TN involves providing project engineering and management services in the field of electrical, instrumentation, and controls (EI&C) engineering for capital investment projects. This role encompasses all project phases, from feasibility to operations, and requires collaboration with internal teams and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project scope and execution approach for EI&C engineering
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory reviews
• Contribute to project cost estimation and budget management
• Develop project execution strategy and schedule
• Manage scope and priority changes during project execution
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines
• Monitor project progress and compile project reports
• Ensure safe and regulatory compliant project execution
• Provide start-up support to operations
• Compile and maintain project documentation
• Assist in the development of specifications, standards, and codes
• Collaborate with other departments and service units

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Controls Engineering
• At least 6 years of EI&C project experience
• Strong project management skills specific to EI&C
• Expertise in power distribution, instrumentation, and controls
• Experience with E&I construction documentation
• In-depth understanding of engineering principles and relevant codes
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Preferred Professional Engineer registration in Tennessee
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
