Primary Function

As the Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee every aspect of project assignments and utilize our project management system to ensure successful project outcomes. Collaborating with a team, you will contribute to the planning, organization, implementation, and completion of project assignments.

Primary Responsibilities

As the Senior Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Devising and overseeing the execution of moderate-level, full project development plans, encompassing mechanical and manufacturing aspects of product design.
  • Performing advanced engineering tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Mentoring the engineering design team throughout the entire project cycle, from concept to completion.
  • Applying advanced engineering principles within your area of expertise.
  • Participating in Project Identification meetings to define project specifications and scope in collaboration with marketing and management.
  • Developing system documentation to ensure compliance with contractual and program quality requirements.
  • Conducting project meetings and preparing reports to communicate project status.
  • Reviewing product designs for adherence to engineering principles, company standards, customer contracts, and specifications.
  • Coordinating activities to resolve technical developments, scheduling issues, and design test problems.
  • Evaluating and implementing design changes and specifications.
  • Collaborating with other Engineering Staff to provide input based on individual expertise.
  • Preparing project expense estimates and managing expenditures.
  • Performing other necessary activities as directed.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in gas appliance design, testing, or combustion engineering.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical reports.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with individuals at all levels, including senior management.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools and MS Office.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.
