The Senior Refrigeration Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing project assignments, using a project management system as a guide to achieve project objectives. Working with a team, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and completing project assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute moderate-level, full project development, focusing on mechanical and manufacturing aspects of project design.
• Maintain an up-to-date written description of the project, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate in the development of business and facility strategies to drive product line sustainability and growth.
• Participate in Project Identification meetings with marketing and management to define project specifications and scope.
• Create and implement an engineering program using the Project Management System to achieve project objectives.
• Engage with department contacts to gather input and communicate project activity, progress, and scheduling through project reviews and reports.
• Evaluate product designs for adherence to engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
• Coordinate activities to resolve technical developments, scheduling issues, and design test problems.
• Assess and recommend design changes and specifications.
• Collaborate with other Engineering Staff to provide input on areas of expertise.
• Prepare project expense estimates and manage expenditures within budget limitations.
• Provide guidance and support to other Engineers and Technicians with less experience.
• Perform other necessary tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience or training.
• Solid mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical reports.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively engage with all levels, including senior management.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
