They are currently seeking a Lead Project Engineer for their Tankless Water Heaters division in Johnson City, TN.
Primary Role
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project assignments and ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives. Collaborating with a team, you will be involved in project planning, organization, implementation, and completion.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute project plans for tankless water heater design, considering mechanical and manufacturing aspects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
• Contribute to the development of business and facility strategies to drive product line growth.
• Collaborate with marketing and management teams in defining project specifications and scope.
• Utilize the Project Management System to effectively manage and achieve project objectives.
• Communicate project progress and updates to relevant departments through regular project reviews and reports.
• Ensure product design compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Resolve technical issues, scheduling conflicts, and design test problems as they arise.
• Provide recommendations for design changes and specifications.
• Collaborate with other Engineering Staff to share expertise and insights.
• Manage project expenses within budget limitations.
• Guide and support Engineers and Technicians with less experience.
• Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience or training
• Extensive experience in Gas - Tankless Water Heater design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to comprehend and interpret scientific and technical reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior management
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
• Strong data collection, analysis, and interpretation skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
