LOCATION: Reston, VA. This role offers a hybrid work model (1x/week in the office or less) and is available to applicants residing within a 60 mile radius.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take ownership of critical systems and lead a team to optimize and secure the company's integration solutions using hands-on expertise.
  • Create custom and out of the box integrations using SailPoint.
  • Design, implement, and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Ping Identity, develop MFA strategies, and manage SailPoint IGA projects.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and evaluate and apply new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation using collaboration tools like Confluence Wiki for system configurations, operational procedures, and best practices.
  • Possibly oversee Privileged Access Management (PAM) deployments, ensuring adherence to security frameworks like NIST and CIS.
  • Mentor junior engineers, lead technical teams, and effectively communicate IAM strategies across the organization.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Background of 10+ years in IT with hands-on experience in SailPoint and other IAM technologies.
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in developing custom and out of the box SailPoint integrations is a requirement.
  • Ability to develop integrations with Identity Providers (IdPs) using protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC is desirable.
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms such as SSO, MFA, and PAM across on-premises, distributed, and SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Previous experience in core Java development.
  • Proficient in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions and cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is preferred.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, capable of effective communication with individuals at all levels of the organization.
 
CERTIFICATIONS (preferably):
  • CIAM
  • CISSP
  • IAM vendor-specific certifications
 
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience
WORK AUTHORIZATION: Preferred U.S. Citizen/Green Card holder. Local H-1B transfers will be considered.
