Sr. SCADA / EMS / ADMS Engineer
Lead SCADA Engineer
General Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SCADA engineer to join our team in Alpharetta, GA or Sugar Land, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks, including programming, system configuration, system documentation, factory acceptance testing, start-up and commissioning, and support for both current and new SCADA systems using OSI/AspenTech monarch and its additional modules and platforms.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 3 years of relevant experience working with the OSI/AspenTech monarch system.
· Experience and proficiency with various platforms and technologies, including additional PLCs, DCS, HMI, SCADA platforms, electrical protection relays, historian systems, and other related modules.
· Strong knowledge and proficiency with Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC communications protocols, as well as P&ID's, control panel wiring drawings, and field wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities
· Create and update project and product documentation, including system configurations, networking diagrams, system architectures, and other important project deliverables.
· Execute project delivery and implementation activities to design, configure, integrate, test, and commission advanced control systems using the OSI/AspenTech monarch SCADA system.
· Participate in the development of logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and functional narratives, as well as control panel design packages and field wiring diagrams.
· Attend field verification and user requirements gathering walkdowns and meetings, and provide support for troubleshooting activities during field start-up and commissioning.
