The Senior Tax Accountant role entails typical tax responsibilities such as collaborating with executives of small businesses, consulting on tax strategies, overseeing tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely tax payments, and more. You will also work closely with the Managing Partner to guide and mentor junior and mid-level staff in tax preparation and management. Crucially, you will assist clients in managing their tax reporting and compliance with ease and efficiency.

WHAT IT TAKES:

A genuine passion for tax accounting coupled with extensive experience in this field. A degree in Accounting is required, and an active CPA license is preferred (though relevant experience or progress towards a CPA will be considered). You must have prior experience in tax accounting and preparing tax returns for individuals, small businesses, family businesses, S-Corps, partnerships, etc. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills are essential as you will frequently engage with clients. Furthermore, you should possess the ability to delve into financial records and devise effective solutions for your clients. Proficiency in commonly used software such as UltraTax, Quickbooks, and Excel is expected.
