Salary: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
Job Summary
We are currently hiring a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of the circulating Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the Service-line Coordinators and Management. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the functionality, availability, and sterility of OR supplies and equipment, scrubbing and handling instruments during surgical procedures, and adhering to standards of aseptic technique. Additionally, you will assist with receiving and stocking supplies/equipment, report inventory levels, and contribute to improving systems and patient care activities.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited surgical technologist course (not required if more than 10 years of experience)
- National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a surgical technologist with the ability to competently scrub a variety of procedures in multiple service-line clusters
- Competency in general/urology/gynecology, orthopedics, spine, neuro, and thoracic/vascular service-lines
