Proficiency in Spanish is preferred

We are currently seeking highly qualified and experienced Staff Physicians to provide exceptional care in our Adult Medicine clinic. As a Staff Physician, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services, including health promotion and disease prevention activities for our patients. You will work collaboratively with a care team to provide specialized care.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited medical school and hold Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases
• Hold a valid State of Connecticut medical license and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration
• Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality patient care efficiently
• Deliver culturally competent care to a diverse patient population with complex needs in a collaborative environment
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, peers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Make evidence-based clinical decisions and adhere to department and organizational quality measures
• Be proficient in using electronic health records and other computer systems
• Exhibit a resourceful, problem-solving attitude and take accountability for their work
• Be willing to perform additional duties as assigned
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3 years of experience in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care. Bilingual candidates who are fluent in Spanish and English are also preferred.
• All candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
