Responsibilities

• Achieve personal sales targets and engage with clients effectively
• Oversee all store activities to meet financial goals, provide excellent customer service, manage human resources, control operations, handle payroll, and maintain operating expenses
• Organize advertising displays and merchandise arrangements to boost sales
• Supervise the gallery and its team members professionally and inclusively, adhering to HR standards
• Directly manage part-time sales employees, conducting performance discussions, setting objectives, and ensuring accountability
• Coordinate and execute events such as Owner's Classes, clubs, demos, Creative Classes, and freelance educator events to achieve financial targets
• Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritize client satisfaction as a role model
• Recruit, select, develop, and retain a full store team, holding individuals responsible for performance

Qualifications

• Passion for creativity and willingness to share sewing expertise with customers
• High school diploma or equivalent; Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising degree is a plus
• At least one year of retail experience with proven sales-closing abilities, capability to analyze business trends, and effectively manage payroll expenses
• Extensive knowledge of our machines and products
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
• Effective communication using various forms of technology, both through telephone and computer
• Ability to move around the office and perform stationary tasks as necessary
• Capability to lift and reposition sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends based on business needs
