Store Manager

Location: Westminster, CO
Responsibilities
- Meet personal sales and client engagement targets
- Oversee all activities necessary to achieve store objectives, including financial targets, customer service, HR management, operational controls, payroll, and operating expenses. Foster engagement among staff and customers
- Arrange advertising displays or merchandise layouts to boost sales
- Ensure a professional and inclusive environment in the gallery and manage team members according to HR guidelines and company policies
- Direct supervision of part-time sales employees, including conducting performance discussions, setting objectives, and holding associates accountable
- Organize and execute Owner's Classes, clubs, demos, Creative Classes, and events with freelance educators to meet financial goals
- Provide exceptional customer service and prioritize customer satisfaction
- Recruit, select, develop, and retain a competent store team while maintaining performance standards

Qualifications
- Demonstrated creativity and passion, willing to share sewing expertise with customers
- High school diploma or equivalent. Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising degree is a plus
- At least one year of retail experience with a proven track record of closing sales. Ability to forecast and analyze business trends and efficiently manage payroll expenses for optimal store performance
- Thorough knowledge of our products and machines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
- Effective communication skills through various technologies, including phone and computer. Ability to receive and convey information
- Occasional need to move around the office, with the ability to remain in one place for 50% of the time. Access to file cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer, etc.
- Ability to lift or reposition products weighing up to 50 pounds, such as sewing machines
- Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
