Responsibilities

• Achieve personal sales targets and ensure high client engagement
• Oversee all store operations to meet financial objectives, deliver exceptional client service, manage human resources, maintain operational controls, handle payroll and operating expenses while fostering engagement among associates and clients
• Create and manage enticing advertising displays and arrange merchandise effectively to drive sales
• Lead and support the gallery team in a professional and inclusive manner, adhering to Human Resource standards and company policies
• Directly supervise part-time sales employees, including conducting performance discussions, setting goals, and ensuring accountability
• Coordinate and execute various events and classes to achieve financial goals
• Deliver excellent customer service and prioritize client satisfaction
• Recruit, select, train, and retain a high-performing store team

Qualifications

• Demonstrate creativity, passion, and expertise in sewing
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising is a plus!
• Proven retail experience with a track record in sales success. Ability to forecast and analyze business trends and manage payroll expenses for optimal store performance
• In-depth knowledge of our machines and products
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
• Effective communication skills using various technologies, including telephone and computer
• Ability to move around the office and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
