Assistant Store Director Responsibilities:

The Assistant Store Director will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, ensuring that they align with the company's goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supervising a team to achieve all established goals and objectives
• Promoting a supportive and collaborative work environment
• Managing all controllable expenditures within the established budget to maximize profitability
• Using financial tools and reports to support store operations
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards and meeting customer service objectives
• Maintaining inventory levels and merchandising standards to meet company objectives
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety laws
• Hiring, training, and developing store personnel
• Staying informed about local community activities and events that could impact store business

Assistant Store Director Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of experience in retail management
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated ability to train and develop employees effectively
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong written and oral communication abilities
• Proficiency in multitasking within a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of government regulations and strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and Retail Math
