Store Manager

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Job Responsibilities:
* Successfully achieve personal goals for sales and customer engagement
* Oversee all operations necessary to meet store objectives, including financial goals, customer service, human resources, operational controls, payroll, and expenses, while fostering employee and customer engagement
* Organize advertising displays and merchandise placement to enhance sales
* Ensure a professional and inclusive environment for the gallery and its team members by adhering to company policies and standards
* Directly supervise part-time sales employees and conduct effective performance discussions, set goals, and hold associates accountable
* Coordinate and execute various events to achieve financial goals, such as Owner's Classes, clubs, demos, Creative Classes, and freelance educator events
* Provide exceptional customer service and prioritize customer satisfaction as a role model
* Recruit, select, develop, and retain a strong store team while holding individuals accountable for performance

* Display creativity and passion for sharing sewing expertise with customers
* High School diploma or equivalent. A degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising is preferable
* At least one year of retail experience with a proven track record in closing sales. Ability to analyze business trends, forecast, and manage payroll expenses in order to optimize store performance
* Possess direct knowledge of our machines and products
* Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing retail environment
* Effective communication skills via phone and computer, including the ability to receive and convey information
* Occasionally move within the office and have the ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time
* Able to retrieve or reposition products weighing up to 50 pounds, such as sewing machines
* Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends to meet business needs
