Store Manager
About the Position:

If so, this opportunity might be the ideal fit for you. As the Retail Supervisor, you exemplify a superior level of customer service and set an example for the team members at your store. As a leader, you are responsible for managing the talent within the store, improving team member engagement, increasing retention, and maximizing productivity. You will also utilize data and analytics to make strategic business decisions and deliver results.
What You'll Do:
You serve as the face of the store and demonstrate exceptional hospitality towards our customers and team members. Your main responsibilities include ensuring that all team members provide extraordinary service and contribute to the success and growth of the store. Specifically, you will:
· Educate team members and customers about our products and services to offer convenient meal solutions
· Collaborate with Department Managers and Assistant Store Manager to ensure consistent execution of key operational processes and merchandising plans
· Analyze sales reports, profit-and-loss reports, and other metrics to develop and implement action plans for success
· Foster open and effective communication with all team members and upper management, promoting transparency across all levels
· Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to forecast and maintain a strong store team through effective sourcing, selecting, and hiring
· Train, develop, and coach Assistant Managers and team members
o Instruct Assistant Managers on product management, financial metrics, and team member engagement
o Coach all team members on optimizing operations, personal development, and retention
o Motivate team members to educate themselves and others about product features and uses
o Collaborate with the Guest Services Manager to provide team members with a welcoming onboarding experience
· Manage the store, inventory, and teams to minimize product loss
· Ensure adherence to standards and policies by team members
· Engage with the local community to promote weekly sales and special holiday offerings
· Ensure department compliance with safety protocols, including food safety, sanitation, and risk practices
Availability:
This position requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends, weekdays, evenings, and holidays.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· At least 5 years of experience as a retail store manager in a high-traffic, high-volume environment
· Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Strong oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, management, and customers
· Ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures
· Ability to interpret planograms, layouts, and department schematics for effective merchandising
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree
· Experience in perishable, hospitality, or grocery retail
· Proficiency in Production Planning Software
· Experience with Applicant Tracking Software (preferably iCIMS)
Physical and Work Conditions
· May involve repetitive hand/arm movements, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds
· Ability to use various tools and equipment, such as knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, and pallet jacks
· Extended periods of standing and walking without breaks (up to 4 hours or as required by law)
· Compliance with dress code, including wearing approved hat, hair net, beard guard, and personal protective equipment
